So excited to be starting this journey with you.

Let me just first say…you have made a huge step toward investing in your biz or organization!
How? Because good design means good business–great results, and even greater connection to
to your clients / customers. I want to see you make progress and succeed :)

You may return to this page as often as you need.

On this page you will find information on how to enter the “on boarding phase” of the project.

Project Management

Now that you are officially booked as a client, it’s time to move to the client portal where we can both “see” project details, forms, paperwork, & even tasks lists! The goal here is to keep everything in one handy place, plus offer another level of transparency as I update your portal as I make progress on your project. This is also where you will be turning in your questionnaires, and where I will be sharing design proofs. Watch the ___ video below to get familiar with your client portal :)

What I Need From You: Checklist

This checklists will also be available on your client portal. Just to go your portal homepage > Projects tab > scroll down until you see “Boards”. Select the appropriate named board.

  • Fill out your brand questionnaire (and/or)
Detailed form that goes over specific questions about what you want and need plus offers me deeper insight on your business or organization. This should be done ASAP.

  • Fill out your website questionnaire
Detailed form requesting specific needs for your website; be sure to share and upload content, copy, or images that need to be included. This needs to be finished at least 1 week before the branding is completed OR ASAP if no branding project.

  • Organizational / Business Info

Let’s me document the general info like contact info, address, any social media accounts, and other things I will need to complete your website or marketing materials (i.e. brochures, cards, etc.). Should be turned in ASAP.

The Design Process

(This is also documented, via the checklist in your client portal) Your specific project might be slightly different depending on your unique needs so be sure to check the board for a complete, detailed list :)

Feedback Guidelines

I really appreciate simple and straightforward feedback. It helps me clearly understand your thoughts and make the right changes to your designs.

Here are a few tips on providing awesome feedback:

  • Try and use bullet points to break up your feedback.

  • Read over your feedback to make sure it's clear and check that you've answered any questions I may have asked.

  • Try to “reply” to the original email thread in which I notify you that proofs are ready in the client portal–this keeps things more organize and easier for me to keep track

  • If you have team members that would like to add their feedback, I kindly ask that you gather the feedback into one message. This stops everyone from getting confused and keeps the project organized.

To help keep your project on track to finishing on time, please provide feedback on your designs within two business days of receiving them.

I really appreciate your effort to provide files and feedback on time! Timeliness from both of us will help us get your project done on (or even before!) the deadline so we can move on to the next exciting task on our list.

What happens now?

After you've completed everything on your checklist, we're all set to begin your project! I look forward to starting your project!
